The Classic League is a boys competitive league for U11-U19 teams that attracts players from all over North Texas. The Classic League offers some of the best competition in the Southwest. By the fall of 2005, the league had grown from 143 teams (approximately 2,290 families) to 240 teams (approximately 3,840 families).

In conjunction with the club's move to Pizza Hut Park in 2005, the Dallas Burn have changed their name to FC Dallas. Also accompanying the new name is a new color scheme that features red, white and blue (the colors of both the American and Texas flags) and a hint of silver.
