Andromeda 94 Girls - 2010 Plano Labor Day Champions
CONGRATULATIONS LADIES, THAT'S TWO IN A ROW!
Andromeda 94 Girls U17 Girls Silver Flight Plano Labor Day Invitational
Andromeda 94 Girls made it two in row by winning the U17 Girls Silver Flight of the
Plano Labor Day Invitational.  The girls bested the Midwest City Fusion 1-0 in the Quarter-Finals,
and the Texas Spirit 2-1 in the Semi-Final match.
The final vs Liverpool ended 0-0 and went to PKs. On their 5th PK shot the Andromeda girls
broke the 3-3 deadlock, won the shootout 4-3, and took home the championship trophy.

Andromeda 93 Boys - 2010 Labor Day Tournament Winners


The Andromeda 92/93 Boys won the U19 Gold division of the 2010 Plano Labor Day Tournament

 

Coached by Mike Uremovich and Carlos Videla, the team sported a 4-0-2 record, with four shutouts and only two goals against.  In a hard fought finals match, the team was victorious 1-0 against FC Dallas 93/93 Premier

Congrats 2000 Boys

 

Andromeda 2000 boys won the Prime Time Sports tournament on May 14-16, 2010.
The boys worked very hard and played as  a team to beat some very good opponents.
They have been working on their individual skills and positioning and it showed  during the games.

2001 Boys Red take Gold Division

Andromeda Red 2001 boys earned the honor of Gold Division champions at the 2010 Plano Labor Day Invitational Tournament XXX, held Sept 3rd to 6th. Coached by Josema Bazan, Diego Gentile and Thomas Harju, the boys scored 26 goals and allowed only 4 during the three day event. Their U10 division included 16 of the best teams in the area and Andromeda finished with a stunning record of 6 wins and no losses.

Congratulations to Andromeda red 2001 boys and the Coaches involved in one of the biggest national tournaments for youth Academies!

Congrats Andromeda 98 Boys

During Memorial Day weekend 2010 The Andromeda 98 Boys Team,
coached by Gabby Gentile, won the North American Memorial Day
Cup Championship in the Boys U12 age group.

Andromeda 99 Boys Red - 2010 Plano Labor Day Champions

Congratulations to the 99 Boys Red and coach Marcio Leite,
winners of
 the U-12 Gold division of the 2010 Plano Labor Day tournament. 
The team compiled a 5-0-1 record, scoring 17 goals with 4 against

The 2010 - 2011 team has 6 new players, has come together very quickly,
and is looking forward to the upcoming D1 Classic League fall season

97 Boys Red win the Austin Texans Elite U-15 bracket



97 Boys Red team played up an age group in the Austin Texans Elite Invitational (Aug 14-15, 2010).  The team finished 3-0 in the tournament, defeating ’96 teams from Sugarland, San Antonio and Austin.  The team outscored their opponents 7 goals to 2, and recorded 2 shutouts.  Congratulations boys!

96 Boys Red team were able to produce great offense, scoring 20 goals in 4 games, and astounding defense, allowing only 1 goal, in the Austin Texans Elite U16 bracket August 14 - 15, 2010.

Playing up one age bracket gets the team ready for another run for the top at Classic League Division I and at the Region III Premier League.

Congratulations Andromeda 01 Boys Navy

The 01 Boys Navy won the U-9 academy division of the Genesis Elite Challenge Cup Soccer Tournament
June 4th - 6th, 2010.  The team defeated the High Plains Drifters 4-2 in the championship game.

Andromeda 96 Girls head to Classic League

 


The Andromeda 96G team has made it to D3!!!  Through two super hot weekends of grueling competition, the girls emerged as the winner of their qualifying bracket and are hugely excited about getting to Classic League.  Their coach, Bruno Ferretti, did a masterful job in getting the girls prepared to play their best.  This is a team that truly came together, trusted each other and played beautifully when it mattered. Watch out Classic League, here we come!!!

Congratulations 04 Girls !!!!!

Congratulations to the 04 Girls for winning the End of Summer 3v3 tournament at Blue Sky in The Colony on 8/21/2010. The team only allowed 5 goals while scoring 21 in the 3 game qualifying round against Solar and the Dallas Texans. They went on to defeat the Texans in the Championship game 7-5 after going down 3-1 in the first half. The girls never hung their head and showed big heart, outplaying and outscoring the Texan team in the second half to bring home the victory. U.S. Soccer Developmental Academy teams battle South Texas opponents

The Andromeda USSDA teams completed a successful April 24-25, 2010 trip to South Texas. Facing higher ranked academy opponents in the Texas Rush and Houston Dynamo, each Andromeda team earned 1 win and 1 loss during the trip. Highlighting the weekend was the 6 goals scored by U-15/16 academy player Omar Jaroun. Congrats Omar!

Congratulations Andromeda 91 Boys

Andromeda 91B win 2010 U19 Boys Regional Championship, compete in their second USYS National Championship event!

In June 2010, the Andromeda 91 Boys took on the best of the best in Region III and came away with the USYS U19 Boys Regional Championship.  In July, the team represented North Texas and Region III at the 2010 National Championship event in Kansas City, the only North Texas boys team to win a Regional Championship in 2010.

Congratulations 2002 & 2003 Girls


We would like to recognize the Andromeda 2002 & 2003 Girls for winning their division at the Prime Time Sports Fall Invitational in McKinney Texas August 27 - 29.  The girls played a good level of competition in some tough heat. Great Job Girls!!!

Congratulations 94 Girls

The Andromeda 94 represented well at Beat The Heat in Edmond, OK August 20-22, 2010. The girls played up in the U18 Silver division and "Beat The Heat" by winning their bracket play 7-0, 3-2, and 1-0. The championship game verses Texas Spirit 94 Girls was a well played match by both teams that ended in a 1-1 tie and went to PK’s with Andromeda coming out on Top. Congratulations Ladies for a job well done!

 

2001 Boys Navy Named Blue Sky Champs

 

The Andromeda 01B Navy won the Blue Sky Indoor championship during the summer of 2010.  The team had a regular season record of 9 wins 0 losses and 1 tie.  They outscored their opponents 17-2 in the playoff games.

This follows other big successes for the team, following their Genesis Elite Tournament wins and achieving quarter-finist status in the 2010 Plano Labor Day tournament.
